Working from home has become the new normal! and although it can be nice, a change of scenery is sometimes necessary to boost both creativity AND productivity. Next time you need to get out of the house, check out one of these coffee shops.

Baked Just SO

LOCATION | Lewisville and Meadowlark 

Baked Just SO is located in Lewisville and in the Robinhood Shopping Center. In addition to reliable wifi and great seating options (indoor and outdoor), they have plenty of baked goods to choose from that will give you that boost of energy you need to push through to the end. 

 

Moji Coffee

LOCATION | Downtown
Coffee Shops to Get Work Done atLocated in downtown Winston, Moji is a great spot to set up your office for the day. You will be greeted by smiling faces when you enter their store. Moji Coffee employs and empowers people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities but, they prefer to say different ABILITIES and we think so too. They have plenty of seating inside and reliable and fast wifi. 

Lavender and Honey

LOCATION | West End

Work at Lavender and Honey for the day – that is if you can resist eating all their cinnamon rolls. With great wifi and a beautiful atmosphere, you will get plenty of work done while also feeling like crossed the pond and landed in France. The only thing to worry about here is that it gets really busy, so plan to arrive early! 

 

The Coffee Mill

LOCATION |Lewisille
The Coffee Mill in Lewisville has plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor) and some of the best coffee in the area. Sit on the rocking chairs on the front porch while responding to some emails, or hunker down at a corner table or comfy leather couch. Their wifi is reliable, but sometimes it can start to lag when it gets super busy. 

 

DeBeen

LOCATION | Bailey Park

Although they have limited seating, DeBeen downtown is a great spot. You can take a quick break and walk around Bailey Park to stretch your legs and get some Vitamin D. Their coffee is great, the wifi is steady, and the environment is cozy.


Krankies

LOCATION | Bailey Park

A true staple of Winston-Salem. Krankies offers plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor), lunch and breakfast items, and a trendy atmosphere. With great wifi, you could stay here all day!

Sayso Coffee

LOCATION | West Salem

Located in West Salem Public House, SaySo Coffee not only has some of the best coffee in the area, but a beautiful space to get work done. From long tables with benches to cozy chairs next to outlets, SaySo is a great place to study at. They also have a fabulous outdoor area with picnic tables! They have great wifi, although when they are busy it can sometimes be slow. We recommend going in the morning to catch all the natural sunlight. 


ByGood Coffee

LOCATION | Brookstown

ByGood Coffee is a relaxing coffee shop with local art on the walls, multiple seating options, and solid wifi. Enjoy breakfast at ByGood with their homemade waffles. You will feel at home with their friendly staff and top-notch customer service. 


Anchor Coffee

LOCATION | Bailey Park

New to the scene, Anchor coffee offers a large amount of seating where you can work by yourself or bring a study buddy and all your books. They have Camino Bakery baled goods to cure your sweet tooth while you are busy working or studying.
